The center is a year-round preschool program that is open every day except for 12 major holidays and cancellations due to snow. An executive director, four lead teachers, eight teaching assistants and a cook, who makes breakfast, hot lunches and snacks for the children, work at the center. The curriculum includes classes for music, science and yoga. The center, which opened in 1969, also has a fenced outdoor playground and promotes gardening during the spring and summer.
